About Us

Who We Are

The Good Neighbour Project is a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting unhoused and at-risk youth, currently based in the Hamilton area. Founded by passionate students, we focus on providing practical support through care kits while building meaningful connections within our community. Through partnerships, outreach, and acts of kindness, we aim to create a culture where no young person feels unseen or unsupported.

Our Vision

We started The Good Neighbour Project with a simple belief: no young person should have to navigate life without support.
Seeing the realities of youth homelessness in our community, we felt called to do something tangible. What began as a small act of care by a school club has grown into a movement focused on meeting needs, restoring dignity, and reminding people they are not alone.

Our Impact

At The Good Neighbour Project, impact means more than numbers; it’s about showing up for youth in meaningful, tangible ways.

Through the support of our community, we have been able to:

  • Provide 20+ care kits filled with essential items to youth in need
  • Support young people in transitional housing programs like Wesley Youth Housing
  • Mobilize students, volunteers, and local businesses to give back
  • Create moments of care, dignity, and connection for those who need it most

Every donation, partnership, and act of kindness contributes to a growing movement of people choosing to care for their neighbours.
